Magpul Core Technical Gloves

by on 08/08/2016

Magpul has recently released a line of apparel accessories, some of which have peeked our interest since seeing it in person at the 2016 Shot Show. This writer just so happened to be in the market for a new pair of gloves and sought out these Magpul Core Technical gloves. They are the one of the most comfortable pairs of gloves that I have come across and so we bring you a small review with some first impressions.

This particular pair of gloves was purchased from DSG Arms and they should be available at most retail locations where Magpul products are sold. They have an MSRP of $24.95, but most retailers are offering right around the $20 mark. Although they are available in a few different colors, I prefer my favorite tactical earth tone, which Magpul calls Coyote and that just sounds awesome.

The importance of a comfortable pair of gloves cannot be overstated. Made from lightweight synthetic materials that breathe well, combined with an elastic wrist design and just enough padding at the knuckles, they form around your hands like a good glove should. There is nothing more frustrating than trying to perform a task with a set that are always getting in the way.

Loaded with features that allow for better firearms manipulation. The synthetic suede palm and inner finger construction provides a better grip purchase, particularly on this unmolested G17 Gen3, even in wet or dry conditions. No need for oversized trigger guards, the narrow forefinger design allows for easy access and better control.

A friend told me he couldn't find a pair to fit his hands. Could use a little more padding around the knuckles.
