If you’re looking to buy a shotgun for 3-Gun competition, these are the models, gear and ammo considerations that I’d recommend in the Tactical/ Limited Division. I’ll compare the Remington VersaMax, Benelli M2 Field, FNH SLP MK1, and Mossberg 930 JM. All these shotguns are semi-auto, tube fed and have iron sights. I’ll also cover “Load 2” vs “Shell Caddy” methods and discuss the three chokes I like to use as well as the difference between using birdshot and slugs.
