Press Release: NRL Announces Dog Valley Precision Challenge Match In Utah

March 3, 2017 – Santa Ana, CA – National Rifle League, a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the growth and education of precision rifle shooting through a range of outdoors related public interest activities, has announced the Utah based national-level precision rifle match as part of its 2017 season.

The Dog Valley Precision Challenge (DVPC), presented by Rocky Boots, is a 2-day match taking place between June 10th -11th on private property near Nephi, Utah. Its premier match sponsor Rocky Boots is heavily contributing to the prizes, and will have a booth onsite for attendees to see its new Venator Camo, developed for every terrain. Precision rifle competitors can expect hunting and natural terrain based stages, as well as nightly entertainment for after the match. The match entry fee is $275.

“The National Rifle League is especially proud to have Dog Valley Precision Challenge in our 2017 schedule. The competitors will be shooting on new ground, as it is taking place at a private ranch near Nephi, Utah that has never been shot at before,” says Tyler Frehner, Director of Match Operations. “Match Director Cole Quarnberg is an avid hunter, match shooter, and shooting insider. All this experience is sure to manifest in a challenging yet practical course of fire.”
