Small guns are good for CQB stuff like room clearing. Indoors often means dark and you must positively identify any target before engaging. We really have been liking the Surefire 400X Ultra Green shown here on our MK107. The 400X Ultra has a super bright 500 lumen LED beam that can dazzle, giving you a tactical advantage in the dark. The light also has a 5 mw green laser to assist in aiming, particularly useful in unconventional positions. Despite its high power the 400X can run for 1.5 hours at full output on a set of batteries. The light body is hard anodized billet aluminum and is waterproof with o-ring seals. What we really like about the 400X ultra is that it is small, lightweight and compact, especially considering it’s output. What we don’t like is the cost. This sucker will set you back more than a lot of guns like a complete Del-Ton!
