We are known to be trigger snobs as we feel that on any gun of decent quality, the trigger can easily be accountable for half of a gun’s inherent accuracy. Often a good trigger is the biggest improvement in accuracy you can make. For this reason we don’t skimp on the trigger for our personal builds! For this project we chose a Geissele Automatics SSA-E Trigger. The SSA-E is a two stage trigger where the first stage is a smooth 2.3 lbs and the second stage is 1.2 lbs with a distinct clean break. So the trigger is not a hair target trigger at all, you can slap through both stages for rapid fire or for a careful aimed shot, pull through the first stage, then touch it off with a target trigger like second stage. The SSA-E has passed stringent military safety tests by the Crane Naval Surface Warfare Center and has proper heat treating and surface treatment for a long life. It is a popular trigger in America’s Special Warfare Community. For us, it is one of our favorites in the huge AR15 aftermarket.
