In our initial testing with certain ammo, we had some issues with the bolt overriding the next round in the magazine with the gas positioned on normal. We also had some failures to eject. In addition to the stiffer Sprinco “Blue” buffer spring and a heavier Spikes ST-T2 buffer we described earlier, we replaced the stock extractor spring with a Sprinco 5 coil HD extractor spring and O-Ring. Once we made these changes, the gun was stone reliable with the gas system in the normal position and with various types of ammo. It is sometimes difficult to to get a really short barrel AR pistol that reliable with varying loads so this is pretty good.
