TiQ: What is the history of Aero Precision? How did it start and where are its strengths?
AP: Aero Precision started doing off-load work for Boeing and others in the aerospace industry in the mid 1990’s. It started in our CEO’s garage and has only expanded from there. Aero Precision’s strengths are state-of-the-art, high volume, repeatable machining with tight tolerances and a knack for finding the most efficient ways to machine parts. We have invested millions of dollars in rail guided robotic equipment and brand-new horizontal machining centers with sophisticated monitoring devices and hydraulic tooling to ensure consistent loading of parts. The benefit of this is better parts for the consumer at a reasonable price.
