While shooting either from a bench or prone, you will need a good quality bipod – look no further than Harris Bipods. No description needed, I chose a 6-9″ swivel model then added the S-Lock device to help lock the bipod in place instead of the hard to turn knurled knob that the Harris packs in factory configuration. I also included a quick detach bipod adapter from American Defense Manufacturing. ADM makes some of the absolute best quick detach mounts for picatinny rails in my opinion. This enables me to switch the bipod quickly and easily between multiple rifles but most importantly allows me to install or remove it quickly in hunting situations. For the hunts I go on, shooting from a bipod is pretty limited and being able to remove that weight and bulk from my rifle is invaluable. Obviously, to be able to utilize this ADM QD Harris Bipod Mount on my rifle, I needed a picatinny rail mounted at the muzzle end of my stock. Luckily, Seekins Precision makes a rail that bolts directly to the front 2 sling studs. This SRS Rail, specifically for the B&C stocks, also includes a mounting point for traditional style slings. These high quality parts combine to work together in perfect harmony.
