Now that my rifle is assembled, it’s time to get out to the range! I was definitely curious to not only see how well it would shoot but what the recoil was like. To my surprise, the recoil was quite soft and was not at all uncomfortable. When initially planning my build, I had contemplated threading the barrel and adding a muzzle brake. I still may do that although I don’t feel it’s totally necessary. I am thoroughly impressed with the Remington SuperCell Recoil Pad that my rifle was fitted with.
