The Troy Fixed HK Front/ Rear sight set co-witnessed with the Burris FastFire 2 mounted in the AR-F3 mount. I wanted fixed sights so I wouldn’t have to fumble with them in a critical time of need if my red dot was to fail. I chose the HK style for pure aesthetics. The FastFire 2/ AR-F3 is a combination I’ve had for a while. I did send back the FastFire 2 for warranty repair twice to Burris, each time receiving a brand new one. The 3rd time was the charm because I haven’t had any issues with it since but have always had plans to replace it with the FastFire 3. I liked the concept of the AR-F3’s metal wings protecting the dot from abuse but always felt the design could be lightened and improved upon. It looks like they addressed that somewhat with the newer model.
