There were quite a few custom 1911 builders at the show and although Jesse James Firearms Unlimited is relatively new to the game, the pistols they are producing are excellent. This one features hand forged Damascus steel for the slide and grips as well as a beautiful hand rubbed satin finish to the frame flats.
We were able to catch up with the great guys from TangoDown and they showed us some of their new products and we have to say they are awesome. This Vickers Tactical Glock Grip Plug/Takedown Tool serves as a magazine chute and also has a take down pin hidden inside of the handle. These are available in several colors to match your pistol. They also showed us this new, not yet released, slim keymod hand guard for the AR-15 from Bravo Company USA.
Patriot Ordnance Factory was kind enough to display this reminder for us all to get a fire rated safe to store our arms in. Heartbreaking.
lionSTEEL had some beautiful knives on display including these Damascus bladed and carbon fiber clad pieces as well as this heat sensitive handled blade that changes color in the palm of your hand. These guys know how to combine great materials and design to make awesome blades anyone would be proud to put in their pocket.
